Therapist Profile
Masako Takahashi is a licensed and a nationally certified massage therapist (NCTMB) and
a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
She is a graduate at the top of the class at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (now
called Cortiva Institute) in 2000 and has been practicing in Crystal Lake &
Woodstock areas more than 10 years.
In 2001, she was certified for Myofascial (Deep Tissue) Massage Therapy.
Since 2004, she studied acupressure techniques (eastern bodywork)
from an Authorized Jin Shin Do® Instructor, Cheri Haines in Madison, WI.
In 2010, she completed the master course with the founder, Iona Teeguarden.
Now she is a Registered Jin Shin Do ® Bodymind Acupressurist.
She has been practicing Tai Chi for wellness since 1990. Over the course of learning
Tai Chi, she has been invited to many types of wellness practice sessions and anti-aging seminars in Chicago area. If you are interested in learning about her experiences and their benefits, please feel free to ask her.
She also holds a B.A. from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and a M.B.A. from
Rockford College and was working in international banks and a software development company in her 20s.
Today, she continues to work with compassion and offer mindful care.
